Beirut, Lebanon -- In a poll published on MiddleEastNews.com, over 12,500 (98%) readers of MiddleEastNews.com believe that the U.S. President George W. Bush is an accessory to murder in the current war in Lebanon. In the one day poll that was held from 7/30/06 to 7/31/06, the majority of readers answered with a Yes to the question if whether the U.S. President is an accessory to murder in the current war in Lebanon. Over 1543 showed support to the President.

M. Shahoud writes, "he (Bush) should be punished as WAR MURDERER and if I get the chance to punish him, I would chose the capital punishment."

Beth from Louisville, writes, "Along with Israeli PM Ehud Olmert, I believe George Bush is guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity. I am doing my part here to make sure my elected officials know that I do NOT support the US provision of weapons to Israel, nor do I support the US's tacit endorsement of the actions Israel is taking now against Lebanon and has historically taken against the Palestinians, nor do I support ANY intervention by the US in Iraq or Afghanistan." she writes.

The large outcry to support the innocents in Lebanon represent a shift in World opinion after Israel and its backers killed hundreds of Lebanese and destroyed the country's infrastructure. Europe and majority of world leaders requested Israel to stop its aggression, only the U.S. President Bush refused the cease fire and continues to give Israel cover to commit its daily crimes.
