Allah, The God That Never Sleeps!

March 23, 2009

According to the people of faith, Allah is the master of this universe. He is its Creator and its Sustainer. And from him matter existed and it evolved. He is the alpha and omega of the infinite. He sees the actions and behaviors of his worshipers and His angels record their actions and deeds for after life punishment (hell) or reward (heaven / paradise).

Who Is Allah?

Allah, is the arabic name of God. God is a general title of a Creator, however his name in arabic is Allah. It is like John Smith is the name of a human-being. The human being is this case is called John Smith. The Creator of this universe, the God of the heavens and earth, the beginner and the finisher. This God has a name, and His name is Allah. The name Allah also means the One God with no partners.

Why Are We Talking About Allah?

Since the belief that Allah created the heavens and earth, it is common to assume that He also created the human beings and every living being who inhibit this earth! In the Muslim tradition, God is described as the one that He is Mercy and Kind, the Giver and Benevolent, along 99 magnificent attributes.

We were trained since birth that God is the primary force in our lives and He is the primary cause of our existence and fortune. If God Wills It, It Will Happen! And so it goes, generation after generation heads this route of dependency on God and His Will. A wishful thinking that proved fruitful with small matters, but with major decisions the will of God alone doesn't help, but preparation, determination and intelligent actions superseded and defie the will of man and meet with the hopeful will of God.

We were taught that the God who created everything is powerful and never sleeps. He is watching over us 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 52 weeks a year. Year after year, decade after decade and century after century. The God we learnt to worship is worthy of worship! Our five daily prayers to him are our submission to His deity and our acknowledgment that He is worthy of our commitment to the human cause. It is our understanding that He is a powerful and a mighty God. He forgives the weak and punishes the aggressor.

But, lately we have been witnessing that the aggressor(s) are being earthly rewarded and God our mighty Creator allowed these aggressors to commit daily crimes against innocent civilians in Palestine, in Iraq, in Lebanon, in Afghanistan, and many other regions and locations.

George W. Bush committed the crime of the century by invading Iraq and killing its people, and as a reward we learn that he purchased a multi-million dollars compound in Texas and is enjoying life to its fullest. Caring less about the people he killed or ordered to be killed.

The Israelis, Ehud Olmert, Ehud Barak, Livni, Natenyaho and the remaining gang members in the Israeli establishment ordered the killing of thousands of Lebanese and Palestinians, but we see them enjoying life as if nothing happen, and as if no blood of innocent people on their hands. No punishment awaits them as no power on earth willing to put them on trial for the crimes they committed.

Flash back into History

The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ was crucified and tortured by the Jewish rabbinical establishment during the Roman control of Palestine and Jerusalem. And it is understood that the powerful God did not send help for his rescue or safety.

History tells us that the grandson of prophet Mohamad, Imam Hussain was beheaded by the misguided souls of the Abu Sufien clan.

If history, past and present serve us at all, it serves us that the powerful and mighty within the human race subjects others and impose his will on them. God that never sleeps may and has allowed the killing of the innocents. And that a fair system of government or world body does not exist.

Allah says, that he will change the circumstances of people if they change their wicked intention. In today's Muslim world, most people live in fear and despair. The Arab leaders are corrupt, merciless killing and torture machines. Most of them are installed as head of States by Western powers and they serve the interest of these powers more than they serve the interest of their own countries and people.

The dependency on God is a beautiful thing if the person puts his trust in the Creator, but God wants His worshipers to prepare, plan and execute. The dependency alone does not make the person a good person, but it makes him a person who relies on God and others to improve his life.

God that never sleeps, really does NOT sleep and with time He will PUNISh those who committed the daily crimes against the Palestinians, and He will make them wander again!
