The Pharaoh & The Wise
Man - Part II
April 19, 2002
The new ruler, looks at the tiny size of Palestine, reviews the facts of
pre and post the creation of Israel. Israel, is a country his previous
administrations supported blindly since its creation.
He scratches his forehead, a fly just landed on his handsomely looking face.
The moisturizer he used has a smell, which attracted the fly. It buzzes around,
buz, buz, he follows it with his eyes; it is landing, it is landing,
and suddenly it halts its flight. It has landed on the map that he was looking
at earlier. It slightly flew from one spot to the other on the map.
With his eyes, he cautiously follows her, staring with amazement.
Bum, he attempts to kill her, but she swiftly flies around the office,
he turns around, and attempts again, but his palm swim in the air. The fly
makes few rounds around the room till it finally exits the window back to
the rose garden.
The Pharaoh walks back to his chair exhausted, he thinks to himself,
this little fly exhausted his effort and took him away for a while of
what is important to his survival on the crown of his newly found
kingdom. To clear his mind, he relaxes his head on a adjacent royal
love seat. Few seconds of relaxation takes him to the sleep world, a temporary
death away from this life and its complications. He gestures as if he was
calling his aide. No, wait he is asleep, perhaps dreaming. Yes, he is dreaming!
The Pharaoh in Dream Land
In his dream, the Pharaoh is sharing a conversation with an elder, but seems
to be a wise man. The wise man's clothes are medieval like custom. He has
a long, but well kept beard. His white hair is a sign of old age and wisdom.
The Pharaoh was attentively listening to him, perhaps they knew each other,
but how can they?
The Pharaoh asks the wise man for help! "I need to ask you something,
and I want you to answer me honestly and wisely. Your reward will be
great, if you satisfy my inquiries," he said.
"I am at your service your majesty" The wise man replied. The new pharaoh,
sits down, and invites the wise man to do the same. "well, okay then," the
Pharaoh continues. "I want to ask you about the future of the Middle East,
and what do I do about Israel and Palestine?"
The wise man summons his energy, and starts his
answers. To be continued
