Declare it Arafat, just declare it!

May 13, 2002

Israel's right wing government voted late Sunday against any future establishment of an independent Palestinian State.

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon had told the assembled party members Palestinians must end violence and reform their political structures before he would allow any talk of them establishing a state.

Netanyahu, another leader of the extreme right wing government said: ''A state with all the rights of a state, this cannot be, not under Arafat, nor under another leadership, not today, nor tomorrow.''

Israeli leaders regardless of their party affiliations have ruled the lives of Palestinians for the last 55 years. Misery and despair befell the Palestinians under the Israeli occupation. Rejection by the Palestinians of the newly imposed status quo took different level of expression. The PLO lead by the current leader Yasser Arafat was established with the aim to liberate Palestine, all of Palestine, including Tel Aviv, Haifa, Yafa, and other towns and villages from the invading European Jews. However, Arafat failed to liberate Palestine militarily. Israel with the support from the remaining super power has defeated the Palestinians on too many fronts; economically, politically, and technologically. Israel receives approximately two-billion US dollars annually from the new empire, the United States of America.

Imagine a small country of five million people, with revenue exceeding the budget of an entire region. There is no match between Israel and the Palestinians. To put it mildly, Israel can be considered to be the 51 state of the United States. Israel survival in the Middle East, in the Arab World, depends on the financial support of that of the United States. The 51 State is supported politically in the United Nations against any resolution that condemns the behaviors of its leaders, or the atrocities against the Palestinians by its soldiers.

Unlucky are the Palestinians, they have none to help them except their Creator, God, Allah, Lord, whatever you want to name him. He is the only one still with these people; giving them hope, strength, modest prosperity within the misery of their environment. Unlucky are the Palestinians because they believed in the support of the so called Arab brethren, who have failed them, and continue to fail them since the establishment of Israel.

Unlucky, but brave are the Palestinians who refused to surrender, refused to sellout, and die lying their arms. Brave are the Palestinians, who are teaching their generation and populous, the meaning of resistance and sacrifice. These Palestinians are noble people, they are poor in means, but rich in giving and sacrifice. They are proud people, their land was taken away from them by powerful forces that conspired to uproot them from their land and replaced them with the the allegedly chosen people. Damn this Go-d, that select one race, and order the killing and misery of another. Where was this Go-d during the days of Hitler? Who has done nothing but evil to the great grand parents of the evil doers in Palestine today.

After stealing the Palestinians land, uprooting innocent people, raping their women, killing their men, demolishing their homes, renaming their towns, and slaughtering their infants. They dare today, to vote against the establishment of a Palestinian state. It's unbelievable, how we lost our moral equivalency, we don't know the difference anymore between the guilty from the innocent.

Arafat, Declare Your Palestinian State. Declare it today, loud and clear. Your people deserve to have a state of their own, none is willing to give it to you if YOU, as a leader don't assert yourself and declare the Palestinian State. Arafat, declare it, just declare it.
