Q) Imam Moussa Al-Sadr had helped and showed the
way to many Muslims and Christians alike. Would you kindly tell our
readers who is Imam Moussa Al-Sadr?
-
A) To talk about Imam Al-Sadr probably we need many hours and days,
I here just would mention few of his human characteristics. He is a great
man, a great leader. I want to talk about his humanity, with all his
intelligence, education, knowledge, wit, faith and patience, the human side
was dominant in his personality. He is a man of great character, sincere
and great leader, he read the future, noticed the problems in the society
and worked to find solutions, he is humble, he helped the poor, he felt the
people's pain and shared it, he helped solve their problems, he is a good
listener, he met the poor and helpless, and the powerful and rich, he taught
the deprived how to demand their rights, and he taught the rich how
to help and think of the poor. 21 years has passed since his disappearance,
but he is still in the heart of the people. The steps Imam Al-Sadr took to
correct the problems in the Lebanese society, none of his contemporary religious
or secular scholars were able to match. He held the hands of the people,
he did not speak on their behalf, he helped them to voice out their concerns
without the use of violence. he taught them how to practice their rights
in the society, he taught them how to protect the rights of others. He taught
the people how to respect other religions and respect other differences....,....
Actually, I can keep on going, these are only highlights of the achievement
of this great leader, his disappearance was a loss to Lebanon and to humanity.
I pray that he comes back to us safe and sound. I hope from those who
can help release him to do so.
-
Q) Is there any new development about his mysterious
disappearance?
-
A) We still waiting his return, the latest news
we have came to us from the International Intelligence Agencies, which confirm
he is held against his will in Libya.
-
Q) Are you 100% sure of this? if so, why would a Muslim
and an Arab country kidnap Imam Al-Sadr and two of his companions?
-
A) Yes, we are sure 100%. This conspiracy to kidnap Imam Moussa Al-Sadr was
achieved by Muamar Al Kadafi, the current ruler of Libya. he imprisoned
Imam Al-Sadr on behalf of certain Arab and non-Arab governments. They wished
to silence Imam Al-Sadr in any way possible. The mere presence of Imam
Al-Sadr was nuisance to many powerful people in the Arab World. Imam Al-Sadr
presence helped stabilize Lebanon, he didn't allow the partition of Lebanon
during the civil war, his presence was a hindrance of having the Palestinians
be placed in Lebanon permanently, all the assassination we have witnessed
in Lebanon and somewhere else, Imam Al-Sadr powerful presence was a
guarantee that none of these happen. After his disappearance however, we
have witnessed all of the tragedies that happened to Lebanon.
-
Q) Is there any message you like to send to the Libyan
president Muamar Al Kadafi regarding this issue?
-
A) We have sent to Kadafi many envoys, letters and
calls and asked him to release Imam Al-Sadr, but it seems Kadafi does not
have eyes, ears or heart.
This is God's wish to have this thing happen,
and we pray to God to change these conditions, so we can solve the mystery
about the disappearance of Imam Al-Sadr.
-
Q) Finally, Mrs. Rabab, Is there any message you like
to send to the western woman?
-
A) I would like to send a message to every woman
in the East or the West. I tell her that she has an important role to play
in her life, regardless of her religion. I believe the role of woman
is not only 50% in society, but perhaps 75%. Women can sacrifice more, she
is equipped to sacrifice more, she is more patient, she is more calm,
her biological and physiological structure allows her to give more. Always
remember civilized societies and modern countries are by its modern women
and civilized women, these women are those who sacrifice more for their families
and society.
